Robins on Jarvis

Rotherham United caretaker Manager, Mark Robins, brought in Rossi Jarvis from Norwich City yesterday on a months loan to help out at the back.

U19 England International, Jarvis, nineteen last weekend, has only featured once for the Canaries this season - ironically at Millmoor in City's 4-2 win in the Carling Cup.

'He is versatile,' Robins told The Star, 'he has good feet, good defensive qualities and can pass a ball. He could play either in mid-field or at left back.'

Jarvis has been named in the U19 squad for the game on Wednesday night at The Keepmoat Stadium against Turkey.

He is almost certain to start on Saturday for the Millers away at Brentford.
