Robins - Players Gave Their All

Rotherham United caretaker manager told Radio Sheffield that the 'lads gave their all today' in the one-nil win over Brentford at Griffin Park.

'The players did everything I asked them to do out on the pitch today,' Robins said, 'It was important to go out there and show the fans we cared and the lads gave their all.

'There was a fighting spirit on the pitch and we were winning the fifty-fifty balls. We had to win the battles and we battled all over the pitch. The wind made it difficult for both teams but we won the ball in the air.

'Everyone on the pitch was outstanding. The three debutants (Rossi, King and Yates) can feel very proud of themselves. Rossi is very capable and showed what a good player he is and King and Yates stood proud.

'Delroy Facey is a striker in form - he used his strength for the goal, it was a great goal.'

Robins was asked about the vacant managers job and said 'I am enjoying every moment being the manager here.'
