March 19th in Millers history

March 19th hasn't been too kind to Rotherham United over the years with just 5 wins coming from 20 games on this date.

Last time out on this day, was in 2005 when a 53rd minute goal from Queens Park Rangers star Martin Rowlands was enough to beat The Millers 1-0 at Millmoor.

Rotherham's last victory on March 19th was back in 1993 as we beat Chester 2-1 in Division 2 at The Deva Stadium on a Friday night fixture.
Imre Varadi and Chris Wilder getting the match winning goals.

In 1991, Millers fans suffered on the old uncovered Leeds Road away terracing, as it rained very heavy from Start to finish of our 4-0 defeat by Huddersield.

Rotherham's highest victory on this date came way back in 1963, as we trounced Bury 5-0 at Gigg Lane.
Albert Bennett 2, Ken Houghton 2 and John McCole supplied the goals.
