'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Referee Crewe v Millers

The man chosen to officiate at Rotherham United's next game, at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday will be...

Mr Dean Whitestone from Northants.

Mr Whitestone joined the list of Assistant Referee's at the beginning of season 2000-2001.
He made his Football league debut on October 22nd 2005 when he took charge of the goalless draw between Notts County and Carlisle at Meadow Lane.
He finished the season with a record of 9 games, 26 yellows and 2 reds.

However, this season the cards have been shown with more regularity, and up to date he has officiated at 26 games, showing 89 yellows and 8 reds-including 5 reds in his last 6 outings.

This will be his second game in charge of a Millers match, as he reffed the 1-1 draw against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium in December last year.
At that game he booked 7 players, 5 from Swansea plus Ian Sharps and Scott Wiseman of the Millers, both for Unsporting behaviour.

Mr Whitestone will be assisted by...

Jake Collin Merseyside
Ian Smedley Derbyshire

4th official will be...

J Alan Sheffield West Midlands
