'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Che Wilson

Rotherham United's caretaker manager, Mark Robins, beat the transfer deadline clock by minutes to secure the loan of a defender for the rest of the season.

Robins brought in Che Wilson, a twenty-eight year old left-back from Southend United.

Che was a regular last season for the Shrimpers and played a major role in their promotion to League One.

Before moving to Roots Hall he played for Bristol Rovers and Norwich City and had a season with non-league Cambridge City.

Robins told The Star, 'I remember playing against him and he is a compbative player and is desperate to be playing first team football. He is someone I feel can defend and put his foot in.'
