Robins on being manager

Rotherham United's caretaker manager, Mark Robins, has led the team to two wins out of the four games that he has been in charge.

We believe he is on the short list of nine that the Chairman, Denis Coleman, has spoken about.

Robins told The Star that he had been given no indication of how long he would be at the helm in the caretaker role, 'It's as you were really,' he said, 'and until I am told any differently, I will carry on doing the job to the best of my ability. I shall carry on enjoying it, although I enjoyed it a lot better last week.

'If the board want to sit down and talk to me then that's fine and I will sit down and talk. Until then I will play it by ear and see what transpires.'
