'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robins - Don't Get Carried Away

Rotherham United caretaker manager, Mark Robins, was encouraged by the performance on Tuesday night against Blackpool but also says we must not get carried away, as the last two wins under him were followed by two defeats.

'It was a decent second half performance,' he told The Star, 'and the belief is coming back and we looked like we were starting to play a bit. It was encouraging but we need to keep it going. We are still deep in the mire, but we look forward to a bit more confidence.'

Speaking of playing youngsters Liam King and Rossi Jarvis together, Robins said, 'They played together at Brentford when we needed to shore things up and not let people run off us. These lads won't let anyone down and they performed admirably doing their jobs.'

He brushed aside talk of the managerial vacancy saying 'I am going to start and prepare for Saturdays game against Bournemouth.'

Well said Robbo, the most important thing just now, is to concentrate on survival.
