Referee, Millers V Cherries

The Referee chosen to officiate at Saturday's Millmoor meeting of Rotherham United and Bournemouth is.....

MR KEITH MILLER from Witton Gilbert, Co Durham.

Mr Miller joined the list of assistant referees in 1999-2000, progressing to the National list in 2003-2004.

He has however only taken charge of 1 previous Millers game.
That was on February 19th 2005 for our 3-1 defeat by Derby County at Millmoor.
He produced his book just once, showing a yellow to Jamal Campbell-Ryce for Unsporting behaviour on 44 minutes.

His complete record is as follows....

2003-04
26 games, 57 yellows, 4 reds

2004-05
35 games, 102 yellows, 6 reds

2005-06
39 games, 79 yellows, 9 reds

2006-07
32 games, 82 yellows, 9 reds

Totals
132 games, 320 yellows, (2.42 per game) 28 reds (1 per 4.7)

Mr Millers last red card action came on January 30th 2007 when he showed the door to Wolves pair,Jackie McNamara and Gary Breen in their game at Norwich City.

not too bad regarding yellows, but 9 reds in 32 games a bit steep.

If keane is playing he had better be careful with the amount of red cards he likes to show and yes zip it is a bit steep and he might break his record on saturday for red cards

He is an awful referee. We've had him 3 times so far and the 1st time was the worst display of refereeing I have ever seen in 30+ years, the 2nd time he was awful and the 3rd time he actually had a very good game so goodness only knows if he will ruin the game today for both of us :(
