Rossi Jarvis happy at Millmoor

Rossi Jarvis, who is currently on-loan at Millmoor from Championship side Norwich City has expressed his wish to remain with Rotherham United until the end of this season.

after making a winning debut at Brentford a fortnight ago, the 19 year old centre midfielder has played in 3 games, 2 of which have been victories.

He has joined on a one month loan deal which will be over after the trip to high flying Nottingham Forest on Easter Monday.
However, the Fakenham born player said he would prefer to help The Millers in our bid for survival rather than end the campaign in Norwich City's reserves.

He told The Advertiser, 'I want to play football. Rotherham have given me the chance to do that and hopefully i can repay them.'

He added, 'This season hasn't gone as well as i thought at Norwich and when i got a call to say Rotherham were interested, i was off here within a day. I was more than happy to take the chance'.
'Im only here for a month to start with but if we carry on winning and Mark Robins likes me then hopefully i can stay until the end of the season'.

Jarvis is currently playing alongside what is probably the youngest midield line-up in Rotherham's history and said,
'Look at our midfield against Blackpool on Tuesday, the oldest player was 21 (Martin Woods).
I think it's brilliant to give young English talent a chance to come through.
Norwich was hard because there were always older players ahead of me, but i have been made welcome here and i've settled in well'.

Speaking of The Millers relegation fight and the victory over Blackpool on Tuesday, Jarvis finished by saying, 'It was a relief, the lads knew it was such an important game, as they all are right now.
Hopefully we can push on from here and stay up.
We can beat anybody on our day'.

We would definately benefit by keeping Rossi here, he has the makings of a decent hardworking, solid, midfielder. Good luck Rossi
