Windass for Millmoor ?

Dean Windass could be one of the names up for the vacant managers job at Millmoor as the interviews started yesterday, reports today's Rotherham Star.

The 38 year old striker currently enjoying his second spell with Hull City,has intimated that he is interested in joining the management side of the game.
Well travelled Windass, has also played at Yorkshire rivals Bradford City plus both Sheffield clubs, had already staked his claim for another managerial vacancy elsewhere.
After telling Hull boss Phil Brown of his desire to carry on playing until the age of 45, he could be looking at a possible Player-Manager's role.

Windass, who turned 38 on April fools day has hit 185 goals in 569 League games so far in his career, and hit an Hat-trick against Hull's relegation rivals Southend last Saturday.

He is the latest name linked with the job as Millers chairman Denis Coleman and his Board work their way through a shortlist of 11 candidates over two days.
Others linked have been Keith Alexander, Brian Horton, Brian Little, Martin Scott, Bobby Williamson, Chris Wilder and some managers who currently ply their trade abroad.
Caretaker-boss Mark Robins is also among those scheduled to be interviewed.
The new man could well be in place in time for Saturday's home game with Gillingham.

it's all speculation at the moment i still go with my original guess micky adams ad robins as his assistant cos he's had experience working with limited funds.
