'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jamie Yates

Rotherham United's young midfielder, Jamie Yates, has been interviewed by MillersWorld today.

He says that he thinks he is coping well with being in the first team and playing along side players like Craig Fleming and Ian Sharps have helped his game.

He thought himself fortunate to be picked to play for the first team by caretaker manager, Mark Robins. He has worked with Robins as his coach for two years as part of the Youth Squad and thinks it was right for Robins to be able to have the chance to be manager.

Jamie says about the Nottingham Forest game, 'I remember going there with the reserves and when I first walked out onto the pitch the ground stunned me. There will be nearly thirty thousand there on Saturday and I hope I get a game.

Of his future he said,'I want to play as many games as possible.'
