Keane's Millmoor frustration

Millers midfielder Michael Keane has spoken at the frustration of not being picked for last Saturday's game against Bournemouth.
After battling back to fitness following a four month lay off through injury, the Irish born midfielder played 15 minutes in the win over Blackpool a fortnight ago, but was mysteriously dropped from the squad of 16 for last weeks defeat.
Keane said, 'I can understand it if the manager wants to go with younger players, but i should at least have been on the bench, surely.'
'A while ago (former boss) Alan Knill rung me and said other clubs were interested, but i told him i didn't want to go anywhere and the club didn't let me go.
Looking back, what was the point in keeping me if i'm not playing now even though i'm fit?'
Keane added, 'I have never had a problem with Mark Robins and i don't think he has a problem with me.
I only got on for 15 or 20 minutes against Blackpool but i gave it my all, as i always do.
I'm one of those who will never stop trying, even if we're 3-0 down.
I like to get in there and get close to the opposition because they dont like that.'
Keane played a full 90 minues in the reserve team win at Lincoln City on Wednesday to further prove his fitness.
