The Easter Monday clash between Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United will be officiated by....

Mike Thorpe from Suffolk.

Mike was born on 30th July 1969 and began refereeing back in 1988.
He progressed through the Eastern Counties League and gained promotion to the list of assistant referees in 1995.
In 2002 he progressed to the National list of Referees.

He has taken charge of Millers games twice before.
First time in a 3-0 defeat at Reading on February 22nd 2003 where he booked 2 players.
Adrian Williams for the home side and Curtis Woodhouse for Rotherham.
His second occasion was in The Millers 3-2 victory at Leyton Orient, on Septmber 23rd this season where he booked 3.
Clayton Fortune and Daryl McMahon of Orient and Millers keeper Neil Cutler for time-wasting after 66 minutes.

This season has seen Mike in charge on 31 occasions, booking 86 (2.77 per game) and showing red 4 times.
