'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robins - 'Delighted'

Rotherham United's new manager, Mark Robins, is delighted at getting the job, after having six games as caretaker manager.

He said at the press conference,'It's a privilege and I am pleased the board have shown faith in me. I like challenges and this is a massive one. I am looking forward to it.

'Once I get a number two in to work alongside me it will be exciting.'

A number two will hopefully be appointed next week, although most Millers fans were expecting ex Miller John Breckin to be announced in that position today.

Robins has ambitions for the club and said,'When I was here as a player we had success on the pitch - we have to get back to that. I need the right players and a good structure.'

Previous to being caretaker manager Robins was Youth Coach and it is some of these players he has given debuts too over the last few weeks and he is quoted as saying that these players will give their all for the club.

It's over to you now Mark. Let's hope you get the money to bring in the players you want and to keep the players you think we need to keep.

Vital support you.

Good Luck
