'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robins Knew He Was Manager Yesterday

Mark Robins, the new manager at Rotherham United, has told Radio Sheffield that he was told yesterday that he had the job.

'It's been a whirlwind few day since I had my interview on Tuesday,' he said.

He was asked when he realised he wanted the job and he replied, 'When I started to do it as caretaker.'

Talking about the 'mystery' number two, 'I expect to have someone in place as soon as possible and yes I had some input in it.' He carried on,'I hope things work out - we have to make sure all the I's are dotted and the T's crossed. I'm not saying who at the moment.'

Yes could well be Mex. But why not come out and say that instead of all this cloak and dagger stuff. It just frustrates the fans.
