Millers Starlet has Sparkling Future

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has heaped praise on midfielder Marc Newsham after he scored the winner on Saturday against Gillingham.

Twenty year old Newsham came on as substitute at Millmoor and scored his first league goal in front of the home fans in the Tivoli.

Mark Robins told TeamTalk that he thinks there will be more to come from Newsham and he told the Star,'He has an eye for goal and it shows him that he can do it. It was an excellent finish.'

Newsham was also on hand to help the reserves in their five-nil thrashing of Darlington earlier this week at Millmoor. He scored the first goal and made the fifth.
