'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robins - 'stick with us'

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has urged the fans to stay loyal to the relegated Millers.

'Stick with us, back us and come and watch us,' is the message he has sent out whilst talking to The Star.'People will look for us to bounce straight back - we are already planning for next season to try and make sure we are in the top half of the table.

'I know there's been some difficult times in the last few years for the supporters which has tested them and they have been extremely loyal. But I want to stress the importance of sticking by us next season and buying a season ticket.

'We'll work our socks off behind the scenes to get a squad capable of challenging as high as possible next season.

'I can't make promises except to say I will be demanding we get quality, commitment and desire. At the end of it, it's all about what you put on the pitch and the lads have shown recently that effort and commitment are essential.

'I will just say that next season we will have a right good go and that's all I can ask.'

Whats needed from the players is pride in wearing a millers shirt passion and an endless commitment then we will be able to make a challenge for promotion
