On the opening day of the F.A Premier League on August 15th 1992, Andy became the youngest ever Premier league player when he turned out for Tottenham Hotspur v Southampton at the age of 17 Years 145 days.
3 Weeks later he became the Youngest ever Premier League goalscorer against Everton.
He held this record for 5 years until Michael Owen beat him by 22 days.
However this record breaking start to his career was followed by a series of loan moves and full transfers throughout the 90's.
Andy was given the chance to resurrect his career at Rotherham United after losing his way with his previous clubs and at first he showed glimpses of the form that had made Terry Venables sign him at Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Crystal Palace.
He played wide on the left and was a good crosser of the ball as he played an important role in helping the Millers to promotion from Division Three. But the following season he struggled to find his form and was restricted to just a handful of games in September as he faded away again.
Millers record
1999/00: League apps 26+6 goal 1 Cup apps 3
2000/01: League apps 3+1

Glovers conference record
2001/02 apps 14+7 goal 1
