Millers reserves blunt Blades

This afternon at Millmoor, Rotherham United reserves extended their lead at the top of the Pontins league table following a 5-1 win over a very young Sheffield United.

On 24 minutes it was 3-0 as Toumani Diagoraga set up leading scorer Marc Newsham who hit home his 12th reserve team goal of the season.
3 minutes after the interval and another Paul Hurst cross set up Ryan Taylor to head home Rotherham's 4th.
The Blades pulled one back on 55 minutes after a shot from Mellis was deflected in by Rotherham's Nathanial Kerr.
The scoring ended on 79 minutes as a throw in by Streete was flicked on by Newsham into the path of Richie Partridge, who hit home his second of the afternoon.
