Millers Contract Talks

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, admitted to The Advertiser this week that he has a big rebuilding job ahead of him before next season.

Eugene Bopp, Michael Keane, David Worrell, Colin Murdock, Gregor Robertson and both first team goalkeepers, Neil Cutler and Gary Montgomery are all out of contract this summer. It is also well known that Martin Woods is drawing interest from other clubs.

On the up-side Sam Duncum and Jamie Yates have both pledged themselves to be at Millmoor next season and Stephen Brogan, Liam King, Marc Newsham and Ryan Taylor, who has been out for much of the season with glandular fever, are all close to agreeing deals.

'We will sit down with all the players at the end of the season but will have to cut according to the cloth,' Robins said.

There has been talk that Guy Branston will be coming back to Millmoor from Peterborough but when asked, Robins said 'He is under contract to another club and there is nothing doing on that at the moment.'
