'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Millmoor A Disgrace' - Chairman

Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman, has told The Advertiser that Millmoor is like a museum.

We are working all we can to improve the stadium,' Mr Coleman said, 'and we will keep plugging away at it, but it is very hard work.'

Despite the hard work, last summer of Stadium Director, Dave Costin, the need for big improvements to the out-of-date stadium is a pressing matter.

It is thought that Millmoor, with it's half built stand and crumbling ground, is amongst the poorest in the football league. But no serious modernisation can take place until the legal matter with the Booth family over the lease of the land, is sorted.

'We have a big job on our hands,' the Chairman carried on, 'we have been playing catch up for the last twenty years. This stadium is a disgrace.'
