'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robins Post Yeovil

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, told Radio Sheffield that he was disappointed with the result away at Yeovil today.

'I think at the start of the game we had them on the back foot and looked quite dangerous,' he said, 'but we took our foot of the gas.

'We were not doing our job up front - we created bits and pieces and we had the ball in the area numerous times but, and I'm getting fed up of saying this, we need someone to put the ball in the back of the net. There were too many people just standing in the box. And this is something we will have to work at on the training ground.

'Their goal came from a set piece again which is very disappointing.'

He was asked about the positives from the game, 'the team tried hard and worked. We've got to be looking at the lads who came on. Kerr, making his debut today, looked OK and Newsham and Partridge did well.

'But, you need a finisher. You need an end product.'

I was very disappointed with the 'marks' our players got in the newspapers, 3's, 4's, 5's etc., they weren't that bad!!
