Douglas on Millers Contract Talks

Paul Douglas, Rotherham United's Chief Operating Officer, today spoke to MillersWorld about how the players contract talks take place

'This is obviously Mark's (Robins) area,' he said, 'he will say who he wants to stay and we will be in negotiations with him on who they are and to sort out the terms and conditions.

'Then it's up to the Chairman and I to sort out the finer details and the paper work - and there's a lot of paper work I can tell you!

'There's a few of the lads who have relegation clauses in their contracts and I am sure they will be pondering on these at the moment. Hopefully a solution can be reached with them.'
