Reserve Report

Scunthorpe Reserves 0 v Millers Reserves 4

Rotherham United Reserves were crowned as champions this afternoon of the Pontin's Holiday League Divison One East.

The Millers dominated the game from the start and it wasn't long before Richie Partridge opened the scoring. Partridge could have scored two more goals before trialist, Tom Cahill sent the ball through to Ryan Taylor to get the second on the thirty fourth minute.

Both Cahill and Jamie Yates worked well and just before half-time Liam King scored number three.

Ten minutes into the second half and the home goalkeeper saved brilliantly from King but the visitors scored the fourth goal in the sixty-fifth minute when some good work from Toumani Diagouraga paid off and Taylor got his second of the game.

Team: Liversidge, Lycett, Hurst, King, Streete, Mills, Yates, Diagouraga (Harrison 69), Taylor (Lodge 82), Cahill (Green 57) Partridge
