Wilson Out Of Millmoor?

Wilson Out Of Millmoor?

Rotherham United's on-loan defender, Che Wilson, will possibly be leaving Millmoor at the end of the season.

Wilson, who came to Millmoor on loan in March, could be wanted back at Roots Hall for their push to get back into the Championship, after being relegated this season.

Wilson told The Advertiser that this year hadn't been good for him,'All I want to do is play football,' he said, 'and who ever gives me that opportunity, I will take it.

'I want to play at as high a level as I can and hopefully, this summer, I will have a couple of options and I will see where I go from there. I understand Southend are going to offer me a new contract.

'I don't know if I will be at Millmoor next season, but where ever I am I will look back with fond memories.

'Although things haven't been good on the pitch I have enjoyed it here. The lads have been great and I have been treated with respect. I have been looked after and that is something I will always remember.

'Hopefully, I have given a good account of myself, although it wasn't enough at the end to survive. I have given it my all and I hope the fans recognise that.

'There are some talented boys here and the work ethic is great. I am surprised they have been relegated - it is just a matter of cutting out the silly mistakes.'

Practically every player who comes to Millmoor, loves playing for us. If results were based on enthusiasm, we'd be top of the Premiership!
