'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Robins post Bristol City

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has sent his congratulations to Bristol City tonight on their promotion to The Championship.

'They are a good side,' he told Radio Sheffield, 'and they played very well.

'Our game plan today was to try and stop them scoring and to score one more than they did.

'Marc Newsham took his goal well and he could have scored before that. We did try and get back into the game, and we had chances, but we need to be taking those chances. We have conceded too regularly and these are the issues we have to address.

'We have looked at possible targets and we have to now work our socks off to bring in players who will be able to cope with this division. There is a lot of work to do.

'We have got a chance of going straight back up again next season but it will depend on who is here.

'Hopefully, what the players have experienced here today could be us next year.'
