Millers Danny Harrison

Rotherham United's latest signing, Danny Harrison, says he had no hesitation in agreeing to come to Millmoor.

Harrison, twenty-four, signed from Tranmere today and told the Official Site,'I had no doubts about coming, I worked with John Breckin at Tranmere last season and I know a few of the players as well. When I had a look round everything felt right and I had no doubt in signing.

'As soon as he found out I was available, John Breckin was on the phone to me. Having worked with him last season I know what he is all about.

'Mark Robins seems a very genuine person; I know about him as a player and it will be good to work with him

'I've been at Tranmere since I was thirteen so I felt I needed a change because I wasn't getting a regular place last season. I had a run towards the end of the season but that wasn't what I wanted.

'I want to come to Rotherham and help them get back to League One. I would like to score a few more goals which I can hopefully remedy next season.

'It will be a new and young Rotherham United squad which will mean we are hungry and will want to do well and get back into League One.'

Perhaps they put a blind fold over his eyes when they showed him the half built stand and dressing rooms!
