Millers Boss on new signings

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has told the Star that he wants players who are hungry to do something.

Robins, who has made five signings so far, said, 'I have brought in players who have got energy and drive; players who are hungry to get a first team place and ready to show what they can do.

'When we signed them and talked to them I could tell they were keen to come here and do well.'

The latest of the five signings is twenty-four year old Danny Harrison from Tranmere Rovers.

'Others were after him,' Robins said, 'so we have done well to get him to come and sign for us. He's been at Tranmere since he was a boy and it must have been a difficult decision for him to uproot. We know what we are getting with him as both John Breckin (the Millers assistant manager)and Ian Sharps have worked with him. We know he has good energy levels and is a combative lad and that he can operate in different roles.'
