RUFC - pleased with ticket sales

Rotherham United Director, Giles Brearley, has told The Star that the club are pleased with the sale of season tickets so far but are hoping for a sales boom before the extended dead-line date for discounted tickets ends on Friday.

Brearley told a recent fans forum that the board were pleased with the positive nature of the supporters over the number of season tickets sold so far and went on to say, 'The fans support is vital and we urge them to back the club by buying a season ticket.'

He also said that although they had given a lot of thought about reducing the prices for the coming season, the club realised they could not afford to drop them.

The 'Earlybird' discounts end on Friday which is a discount of 10% on renewals of season tickets and 5% discount for new buyers.

A further lower discount of 5% on renewals of season tickets and a 2.5% discount for new season ticket holders will begin on 9th June and finish on 30th June.
