RUFC - Owls reaction to Cup draw

Rotherham United will play local rivals Sheffield Wednesday in the first round of the Carling Cup sometime during the week commencing August 13th.

Rotherham, coincidentally, were Wednesday's first ever League Cup opponents back in 1966 (the Millers won 1-0 at Hillsborough), and this will be the first meeting since New Years Day 2003 with the Millers wanting to forget the score that day!

After today's draw, Lee Bullen, Owls defender and captain, told the Sheffield Wednesday Official Site, 'It's great to get a derby game so early in the season and it's excellent for the fans as there's no extra travelling to be done.'

It's certainly a fantastic draw for the Millers! A upset on the cards?
