Millers Breckin on New Signings

Millers Breckin on New Signings

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin, has today been talking to MillersWorld about the new signings.

He said of Mark Hudson, 'He's a player I have admired for a while and soon as we knew he was being released we were onto it. It's took a few weeks where we've been chasing him and his agent and having talks with them but at last he's put pen to paper.

'Peter Holmes is a player I've seen over the years. He's skillful and has two great feet on him and he can play anywhere in midfield.

'We welcome both the lads and we feel they are the right age and will be hungry to do well prove something to the teams that have let them go.

'I feel they will compliment Danny Harrison and Andy Todd and that we now have a very fit midfield that we are happy with.

'We have got some irons in the fire and are looking at a couple defenders and a couple of strikers. Hopefully we will be able to say we have strengthened at the back by the beginning of next week and by the end of the week have the icing on the cake with a couple of strikers. Then the jigsaw will have come together and we'll be happy.

'All our plans are going well at the moment.'

Yeah - but four irons in the fire must make it pretty hot!
