Breckin on Millers Fans
Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin, was thrilled with the sale of 1500 season tickets so far.
He told MillersWorld, 'To think what this club has gone through and for the supporters to back us like this is fantastic news. Mark and I have been nipping down to the ticket office to see how the sales are going and we think it's great. But, I will say, if anyone is hesitating about getting a season ticket get yourselves down there and get it. You will be helping to strengthen the club and helping me and Mark to build a team to be proud of.'
He said the Carling Cup Draw was great for the people of Rotherham and the supporters, 'What better than the old rivals, Sheffield Wednesday down here?
'The fixture list is OK - I would have preferred a home game for the first game of the season. But there won't be too many overnight stays which will suit us and suit the club financially.'
