RUFC - Defender to sign?

Rotherham United Assistant Manager, John Breckin, has told The Star that the club has been in talks with a 'couple of defenders.'

'I am hopeful that we can finalise something shortly, 'Breckin said. 'Talks with one of them and his agent have progressed well.' Breckin also said that the player, although fundamentally a central defender, can play anywhere along the back line.

Although Breckin wouldn't say who the defender was it is thought that the defender is from a Championship club.
