'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Millers Ed's Questions (6)

1 What is your name and which club do you support and how long have you supported them?

My name is Henry Willis, I support and write for West Ham, having previously supported Wimbledon FC as a youngster.

2 Did your team do as well as you expected this season?

Better than most fans may have thought midway through, escaping relegation, but at the start of the season we had no reason why we couldn't be in the top 10 again, if not the top 6 in the League.

3 What was the most disappointing thing for you this season?

Losing away to Chesterfield was a low, and generally the team's attitude towards matches, contributing to being stuck down the bottom, but also the big losing streak we went on and twice losing to Watford at home (in the Cup and the League).

4 What was the best part of the season for you?

Winning away at the Emirates and Old Trafford, and the initial reaction of signing Tevez and Mascherano in August.

5 Which player for your team this season could you not have done without?

Without a doubt, Carlos Tevez stole the show. Next season look out for Mark Noble, only 20, who broke through into the team to gain a first team place. He's a big time fan as well as a player and was key this season in spirit and performances.

6 Which player would you gladly get rid off?

Take your pick... there's more than one. Mostly, Nigel Reo-Coker, Lee Bowyer, who look as if they couldn't care less for the team and a couple of others.

7 What was the best game you saw this season?

Either Charlton (3-1) at home or Brighton (3-0) also at home in the Cup, I haven't been to as many as I would have liked to go to this season.

8 Where do you expect to see your club finish next season? Do you expect them to win anything?

I'd rather mid-table mediocrity than a relegation fight, for now, and another cup run would be nice.

9 If you could have any one player to join your team who would it be?

In the world, either Kaka, Gerrard or C. Ronaldo. Realistically, I'd like to see D. Bent heading our way in the Summer to compliment Ashton or Tevez.

10 What`s your favourite tipple?

Guinness, though I'll drink anything going!

Thanks for answering the questions Henry! I would imagine Mr Tevez stole the show for a few people this season (thinking of the Blades also here!)

I'd imagine he's a popular figure round your parts of Yorkshire! Pleasure to be interviewed, good luck in the coming season.

Henry says that the interview was before Daren Bent turned his nose up at West Ham. btw - you might wish you hadn't said if was a pleasure being interviewed! You might not get rid of me now! lol
