'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Unhappy Millers

Rotherham United have some unhappy supporters today, according to The Star.

A Manager's Forum was scheduled to take place last night in the RUFC Suite but was cancelled due to the bad weather we have been having in and around Rotherham.

Fans have been moaning that they weren't told of the cancellation and turned up hoping to be told about new players expected to be signed this week.

The Official Site issued a statement yesterday morning saying the event was cancelled and so did Rotherham Vital and other websites. But fans were asking why the cancellation wasn't put out on the local radio stations.

One fans told the newspaper, 'It's ridiculous. It's poor communication and we don't even know if they intend to hold it at some further date.'

The club has been slated in the past for it's bad PR, but they did try and get in touch through us and other internet sources, although I do understand not everyone has access to the internet.

It is a case of 'come on Rotherham United, buck up your ideas and think of the fans.'

Anyone wanting to read the questions the Manager answered live on Rotherham Vital last night, can do so on our Millers Mumblings site at the top of the page.

Mark Robins told us last night that the forum would be arranged for a later date.

you`ll allways get some who are quick to have a moan, i think common sense would make them think that it may be in doubt

Have to admit, I would have phoned before turning out - unless the phones were down of course?

I have just been told that it was announced on local radio that the forum had been cancelled
