'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins Happy So Far

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, told The Advertiser that he is delighted with the first week of pre-season training.

'Considering there have been so many new faces I am delighted how they have all bonded,' Robins said as he put the players through their paces at Hooton Lodge.

He has also said that next week the squad will be seeing more of each other, 'the lads will be going out for something to eat, which is a good way to get to know one another.

'Then we will be going to Champneys Health Club in Leicester, do some solid work and then up to Altrincham for the first friendly next Saturday.'

He also said that everything him, and assistant John Breckin, had seen so far has been positive, 'there's already a buzz about the place.'
