RUFC - Robins thanks old club

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, has said a big 'thank you' to his ex club, Sheffield Wednesday, says The Star.

Wednesday's new goalkeeping pro, Richard O'Donnell, was allowed, by the Owls, to train with the Millers and to play in a friendly against Stocksbridge earlier in the week.

'O'Donnell is going to be a good player,' said Robins, 'and although he didn't have a lot to do in the Stocksbridge game, what he did was OK. He's brave and he can kick a ball. He will be a good goalkeeper.

'We are grateful for the help we have got from Wednesday.'

The Millers now seem set to sign ex Derby 'keeper, Steven Cann as back up to Andy Warrington.
