RUFC - Carling Cup game

Rotherham United are disappointed with the response for tickets for the Carling Cup game against neighbours Sheffield Wednesday on Thursday, 16 August.

The Advertiser say we have only sold 2,500 tickets and the club are urging fans to come and get their tickets.

Yes, we know it's live on TV, but this game is against one of our biggest 'rivals' who, I understand, have sold all their allocation of tickets.

Come on you Millers - don't give the 'big' team from Sheffield six the chance to out sing us at our own ground.

Come on - get your hands in yer pockets and get yer tickets!

(Oh dear, I just had a Bob Geldof moment!)

'Cos it's on nearly every pub in the country on the telly is probably one reason + it is still holiday time (not that I'm rubbing it in Oli!)
