'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Club Apologise to Barnsley

Rotherham United have apologised to visiting Barnsley fans for a ticket blunder last Saturday, reports the Advertiser.

Around five hundred fans were left queueing just before kick-off as the club had not printed enough tickets.

The clubs chief operating officer, Paul Douglas, explained, 'there was one less member of staff in the ticket office than there should have been and one of our ticket printing machines broke down, leaving us with an extra problem.

'Both issues have been addressed and hopefully this situation won't happen again.'

The Police eventually ordered the gatemen to let the Barnsley fans in for cash to ease the congestion on Millmoor Lane.

'We apologise for any inconvenience,' says Mr Douglas.

I would also like an apology for the lack of leg room. There are supporters taller than 5ft!!!!

Yes, you lot with long legs do have to tuck your knees under your chins a bit don't you. Me, being only 5ft, am fine!

So JK, is Rotherham your second team now? Most of us have one, mine's Pompey! I'm fine with the leg-room as well!!
