RUFC - Robins in Bean wait

Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, is waiting for confirmation from Blackpool that permission will be given for him to include Marcus Bean in the squad to face Sheffield Wednesday in the Carling Cup game on Thursday.

Bean, who joined the Millers last week on loan, made a substitute appearance on Saturday against Hereford.

Mark Robins is almost sure that Blackpool boss, Simon Grayson, will allow Bean to play, but will contact Blackpool today for comfirmation.

Although, this may not be necessary, as Bean has been suffering with gastric problems this week so puts a doubt against him playing anyway, says The Star.

Blackpool won their first round of the Carling Cup last night beating Huddersfield one-nil.

I didn't even think about him being able to play - especially after Blackpool won last night. Hmmm - makes me think he might end up on more than a months loan
