RUFC - Fleming leaves club

Rotherham United defender, Craig Fleming, has left the club today, according to The Star.

Thirty-five year old Fleming, had talks with manager, Mark Robins and it was decided that he would leave by mutual consent.

Robins said of the player who joined from Norwich City in January, 'Craig is a good example to all. He works hard and we haven't had any problems with him at all. But, we spoke, and I told him he wasn't really part of my plans.

'We felt it best that rather than play in the reserves, he moves on and tries to get a game elsewhere.'

Fleming was brought in by ex manager, Alan Knill and played was first choice until the end of last season. He is also highly respected at Norwich City where he had ten good years with them and is amongst their Hall of Fame.

All at Rotherham Vital want to wish Craig all the best for his future.
