'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Robins Post Chester

Rotherham United manager, Mark Robins, told Radio Sheffield tonight that he thought the team looked sluggish today.

'We'd worked hard all week, having three games coming up, and we thought we could win this one today and I am disappointed.

'After all the games we have played, and some of the players have played in them all, you are going to get one that you look listless in. It's been a busy schedule and they came out of it today looking a little bit drained.

'I thought it was a bitty game from both teams. It was a game we should have been passing the ball a bit. In the end it's a game we were glad to take a point from, we could have lost it. Sharps made an unbelievable save and Warrington did too. He went down and his shoulder popped out and popped back in again. He's going to be in pain and a little bit stiff but we will have a look at him tomorrow.'

He was asked about the penalty decision, 'It was a definite penalty,' he said, 'and the referee missed it. The player stopped the ball with his hand - the referee said it was ball to hand. We are disappointed with the decision, from where we stood it was a blatent penalty.

'But at least we still have our unbeaten run but we now have to get back into winning ways.'

Hope Warrington is OK - might be wise to rest him on Tuesday night and give Cann a go

Everyone in the ground saw the "Penalty" apart from the ones that mattered.
