RUFC - Fantasy Manager's Interview

Rotherham Vital have managed to get an exclusive interview today with top of the Millers Fantasy League manager, Horace Storie. His team, Phil's Pair O'Dice, lead the way at the moment, although only by three points.

Here is what he had to say today:

'Thank goodness we will be able to start transferring out some of the dead wood (or dead beats) in our teams.

cannot really grumble too much as I am only 31st in the overall competition as I write and top of the Rotherham mini-league, though not by much MVMILLER is far too close.

After August I had scored 100pts and was in overall position 212, now I am on 146 points. So 46 points in one weekend, things can obviously change very rapidly.

Despite my decent scoring so far, I have three players that have amassed a total of 3 points between them: -

Park Ji Sung 0 pts (I might as well have chosen Park Di Car)

Nuno Valente 1 pt (Italian for "Not many points here sunshine")

Yossi Benayoun 1pt (I don`t think he plays on the Sabbath)

Stars of the show so far are:-

Edwin Van Der Sar (Obvious really)

Cesc Fabregas (Big talent this lad)

Steed Malbranque (I think we have already seen the best of him - could be a shock transfer)

Fernando Torres (This guy is going to score and score - get him in!)

I notice, with some regret, that I only have one Englishman in my team, Micah Richards, so still in keeping with the amusing first name policy.

A good start, but the pressure will be on to stay at the top and I know you will all be trying to get there yourselves - GOOD LUCK!'

Thank you Horace for taking time out to talk to us today - and good luck for the rest of the season.

But, keep looking over your shoulder!

with that team i would have thought you`d be on minus points so that proves how much i know. i also can`t wait to ship out some dead wood.
