RUFC - Hudson post Mansfield

RUFC - Hudson post Mansfield

Rotherham United's injured midfield player, Mark Hudson, says it may be hard for him to get back into the team after watching tonight's win in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Mansfield.

Hudson, who was a guest commentator on Radio Sheffield tonight, said, 'It was a good away win.

'I think it was the start of the second half that won the game for us. Mansfield came back towards the end and we were under the cosh for the final ten minutes but the team defended very well.

'I thought both forwards played well tonight and I was glad to see Ryan Taylor getting a chance. We looked good playing 4-3-3.

'I might find it difficult to get back in when I start training again! But that is all good for the team.'

A bit more competition for places is always healthy.

It is - and to be honest, he must be a better footballer than he is commentator!
