RUFC - Striker on the Way?
Rotherham United Manager, Mark Robins, has told The Star that he hopes to have an emergency loan striker in before the game on Saturday at Wrexham.
'We have been striving to get someone in,' Robins said, 'and there are just one or two things that have to be finalised.'
It seems likely that the striker will be one with experience and that it will be initially a months loan.
Robins said, that although he is thinking of getting someone in, he is pleased with what he has seen from Chris O'Grady and that he thought Mark Newsham did well when he has come on and Ryan Taylor played well against an experienced Sheffield United Reserve team.
'These are the sort of standards I am looking for but it has to be on a game-in, game-out basis.'
Robins has also said that he is checking out a central defender.
