Rotherham United celebrated a hundred years footballing at Millmoor on Saturday and visitors, Notts County, the oldest League club, played their part.

The Magpies acting Chairman, John Armstrong-Holmes presented Millers Chairman Denis Coleman with a specially engraved tankard and a Notts County Pennant.

Tony Cuthbert County's Club Secretary told their Official Site, 'We wanted to play our part in the hundred years at Millmoor.

'We very much enjoyed the occassion and were happy to play our part and it was fitting that it was such a good game.'

What a lovely gesture.

Brilliant gesture, I like Notts County now. That was very good of them. Maybe we could meet them in the play-off final at Wembley!!
