'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Team with a Mission

Rotherham United go to Macclesfield tonight knowing they have never won there.

The three times the Millers have played at Moss Rose they have got two draws in the League and lost in the FA Cup.

Hopefully, tonight, the Millers will bounce back from the 'inept perfomance' (Mark Robins words, not mine) at Barnet which saw the Millers first away defeat of the season.

The Silkmen have not won at home yet this season and according to The Star manager, Ian Brightwell, says 'We need to be more ruthless and kill off games. I've stressed to the players that a home win is very important.'

I hope Mark Robins has stressed to our players that nothing less than a point is acceptable tonight!

Ahh but '84, the way I see it is if I hope for a draw and we get a win I'm over the moon. If I hope for a win and we get a draw I'm under the moon so to speak. If we lose I shall be unconsolable [Edited by herringthorpe ]
