RUFC - Robins on Newsham
Rotherham United handed a full debut today to local boy, Marc Newsham. Newsham, twenty, has been scoring goals in the Reserves and also getting good revues.
Today, against Mansfield Town at Millmoor, he scored the second in the Millers three-two win. The goal was a classic overhead kick that slammed into the back of the net.
His manager, Mark Robins spoke to MillersWorld after the game and said, 'He played excellent today. After his recent performances for the reserves he justified his start and if he continues to cause the opposition problems like he did today, the shirt is his.
'I was really, really, pleased with his contribution and he helped to make us look like the decent passing side I know we are.'
