RUFC - Latest Poll Result

Rotherham Vital asked the question:

In the last 20 years or so, who has been the Millers best goalie?

Unsurprisingly, I suppose, the one voted top was Mike Pollitt, now playing second fiddle to Chris Kirkland at Wigan Athletic.

Polly played for the Millers twice, joining in 1998 and was an ever present until moving to neighbours Chesterfield, which caused a bit of controversy among the faithful Rotherham fans. He only stayed a season before coming back to Millmoor and yet again was an ever present in the 2001/02 season and helped the Millers survive in Division One - just.

Here is the result of our poll

Pollitt (41%)
Other (25%)
Clarke (17%)
Warrington (7%)
O'Hanlon (6%)
Mercer (2%)
Mimms (2%)
