'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - Bean on Brentford

Rotherham United's loanee midfielder, Marcus Bean, told Millersworld he doesn't quite know what to make of Friday's opponents, Brentford.

'I'm originally from London so they are one of my local teams,' he said, 'but I don't know what to make of them. They've brought in a few players and a few players have gone. It will be a tough game but I'm sure, if we play the way we have been away from home, then there won't be a problem.'

Bean, twenty-two, is on loan from Blackpool and he scored his first goal for the Millers on Saturday in the three-two win over Mansfield and he said, 'that meant a lot to me getting the goal but what was more important was the result. Our home form hasn't been that good so it was great to get a win.

'I've settled in fine here, the boys and the management have helped me settle. I'm here until November and then go back to Blackpool. I have to see how things go from there and to try and sort out my future.'

I'd forgotten until someone said 'we'll miss him when he's gone' last night that he didn't actually belong to us!
